She grew up in the United States. Has a bachelor’s from the University of Vermont and a master’s from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. After several years working on sailboats, she moved to Antigua in the early 1990’s where she then started an aviation business. After conducting an unsuccessful aerial search and rescue for two friends, the idea of ABSAR came into existence. Currently spends her time as a domestic engineer and a volunteer.
