First Aid & CPR course scholarships
ASBAR is an officially recognized American Heart Association Training Site Certified to train First Aid & CPR. We offer classes to local businesses and tour operators.
For 2025 ABSAR is sponsoring 24 scholarship spots to join our classes. Our aim is to be proactive in offering opportunities to anyone who would find the cost of these classes a hurdle.
Who qualifies for scholarships?
-Any local who needs a First Aid certification but finds the cost a hurdle.
-Local school teachers and youth group leaders who would find the cost a hurdle.
Cost of Sponsoring this program.
$2,750 USD allows us to cover our annual costs to AHA, making the program sustainable for ABSAR and covers the costs of 12 scholarship seats. For every additional $750, we can increase the amount of scholarship seats by 12.
-$2000 USD covers our AHA Training center fees.
-$750 USD Covers all of our costs for 12 student booklets, instructors costs, classroom rental.
