Our team responds year round to emergencies across Antigua & Barbuda. We operate on the water and in the field with one purpose: keep people alive when things go wrong. The work is volunteer driven and free to anyone who needs help.

  • ABSAR responds to marine emergencies across Antigua and Barbuda. Our volunteers deploy quickly, locate those in distress, and bring them safely to shore. The team is on call every day of the year.

  • Our medic station supports walk-ins and responds to emergencies across the community. Volunteers provide immediate care, stabilize patients, and coordinate further treatment when needed.

  • ABSAR provides rapid marine firefighting support across Antigua and Barbuda. The team assists vessels in distress and helps protect coastal communities from fire-related emergencies.

  • ABSAR offers year-round First Aid, CPR, and basic rescue training to strengthen community safety. These programs ensure more people in Antigua and Barbuda are ready to act in an emergency.

Alongside our volunteer rescue mission, ABSAR provides contracted services for organizations that need experienced responders on the water or certified medical instructors. These paid services help fund our operations and keep our rescue boat mission-ready.

AHA First Aid, CPR and BLS Training

ABSAR is an American Heart Association training site offering First Aid, CPR, and BLS courses in Antigua and Barbuda. We primarily teach local businesses and groups, but enquire if you are an individual looking to join a class.
